William Thomas Riedel

William T. Riedel, Sr., age 78, formerly of Blue Anchor, NJ, passed away on Tuesday January 5, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Geneva. Loving father of Kathleen (Marty) Mendetta of Pine Hill, Traci (Stacey) Wilson of Boca Raton, FL. William, Jr. (Lynn) of Waterford Works. Devoted grandfather Michael, Zachary, Alicia, Alexandra, Step grandfather of Jaclynn, Madison, Amanda, Samuel, Jason, Layne. Great grandfather of Gabriella, Katrianna. Step great grandfather of Ava, Nicolas. Dear brother of Robert of CA, Jane Beach of Clementon, and the late Raymond and Harry. William was from Blue Anchor before moving to Greensboro, NC.He was a Master Carpenter and worked for Lynch Exhibits in Pennsauken. Mr. Riedel worked on projects including the Statue of Liberty, the display case for the Stanley Cup, projects in the Phila. Museum of Art, and was especially proud of the work on the display case for the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. He was a member of the South Jersey Retreads MC Club and the Blue Anchor Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 10, 2021 from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, where a memorial service will begin at 6:00 pm. Cremation will be held privately.
