William J. Curley

William J. Curley “Sonny,” age 87, of Hammonton, passed away peacefully on August 18th, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.

On June 6th, 1937, William was born to Michael and Ruth Curley in Philadelphia, PA. At the age of 23 he enlisted with the Army and proudly served our country. He was the beloved husband of Patricia for 67 years and his greatest honor was being the best father, Poppy, and uncle to his loving family.

Those left to cherish memories of William are his spouse, Patricia; daughter, Kelly Martinovitch (Dan) and son, William M. Curley (Jennifer); grandchildren, Evan Jacob, Mackenzie Ann, Andrew and Aidan, many nieces, and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews, all whom he loved dearly. William is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters.

At the request of William and his family no services will be held at this time. A memorial will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the care of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory.
