William C. Ruth

William C. Ruth, age 86, of Elmtowne, NJ, passed away on Sunday December 26, 2021. Beloved husband of Phyllis Ruth (nee Zulli). Loving father of Lori Ruth, Bill Ruth, and Jack Ruth. Proud grandfather of Madalynne, Cana, and Jaxon. Dear brother of Stanley Ruth and Joyce Reif. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Sandy Ruth. William was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Elmtowne for over 20 years. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1959-1961. He went on to work as an Engineering Technician at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard for many years. Mr. Ruth was a former Master Mason with the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. He enjoyed history and visited many historical sites throughout his life. William was an avid churchgoer & football fan, and enjoyed camping, playing the one-armed bandit at the Borgata Casino, and spending time with his grandchildren. Cremation will be held privately. A memorial service and military honors will be held at a later date.
