Walter Wayne Kennerup, Sr.

Walter Wayne Kennerup, Sr. , age 75 passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Beloved husband of Cynthia L. “Cindy” nee Malsberger. Loving father of Walter Wayne, Jr. (Pamella). Devoted Grandfather of Brandon, Laney, and Alex Brown.

Walter was born in Binghamton, NY and was a Master Craftsman. He retired working as a carpenter for the Carpenters Union 1578/393. He was a member of the Laurel Springs Baptist Church. Walt was a volunteer Fireman in Laurel Springs Fire Department in his younger years. He loved camping, boating, his place at the shore and working on variety of projects. He also loved spending time at the beach and his hunting trips to Maine with his son and friends. Walter will be missed by all.

Cremation will be held privately. A memorial service will be held at Laurel Springs Baptist Church on Saturday, September 10th, at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow. In leu of flowers, donations can be made to Laurel Springs Baptist Church.
