Vivian G. Justice

Beloved by all who knew her, Vivian Green Justice entered into eternal rest at 101 years of age on Friday, February 2, 2024, at her residence, Spring Oak Assisted Living in Berlin, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, and her daughter, Barbara. She is survived by her brothers and sisters in Christ at Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Berlin, where she worshiped each Sunday and served as a member of Altar Guild and the sewing group.

Known as “Miss Viv” in the African American tradition of respect, she worked for many years as a nurse in North Jersey, specializing in the tender care of those afflicted with poliomyelitis, long before the availability of vaccines.

Friends are invited to attend her visitation at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 442 South Route 73, Berlin, NJ 08009. A memorial service of Holy Communion follows at 11:00 AM, with a luncheon served afterward. Interment will be private.
