Victor M. Ortiz

Victor M. Ortiz, age 62, of West Berlin, NJ, passed away on Tuesday October 26, 2021. Fiercely loving father of Eric Ortiz (Christina) and Rachel Ortiz (Dorothy Claflin). Proud Grandfather of Harper, Evelyn, Olivia, and Holden. Devoted brother of Dulce Nardone, Carmen Morris, Enid Petters, Peter Ortiz, and Carlos Ortiz. Lifelong friend to the mother of his children, Helene (nee Wozniak) Victor was born in Neubrucke, Germany and resided most of his life in West Berlin, NJ. His passion was music and as a member of the Suitcase Murphy Band, he played trumpet and sang vocals. Victor adored his grandchildren as well as his nephews and nieces. He had a deep appreciation for all of God’s earthly beauty; crisp Autumn air and the colors of the changing leaves, Christmas lights and freshly fallen snow, and sun rises on the beach. The light he brought to our lives will be missed greatly. A visitation will be held on Friday November 5, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A family eulogy will begin at 4:00 pm. The family kindly requests that those attending the viewing and services wear masks as a precaution. Thank you for your consideration.
