Dr. Vasanti Bhatt

Dr. Vasanti Bhatt, 86, passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2025 in Galloway Twp, NJ. She was born to the late Vasantlal Shah and the late Muktaben Shah in Zadeshwar, India.

Vasanti is predeceased by her husband, Dr. Rasendu Bhatt. She was the sister of the late Niranjan V. Shah, late Dr. Anil Shah, late Nilaben C. Shah.

She was a medical pioneer who had a successful obstetrics & gynecology practice in Kadi, India with her husband until her retirement in 1998. Our mother dedicated her life to her family, nurturing us with unwavering support and kindness. Her smile was infectious and her warm heart touched everyone she met.

She is survived by her cherished children Samir, Shital, Saurabh, Reena (daughter-in-law), Rohit (son-in-law) and Jignasa (daughter-in-law) and her siblings, Yogesh Shah and Nilkanth Shah. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Shiv, Riya, Isha, Shan, Puja and Shivani.

Vasanti will be remembered for her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and community in India and the US. Her legacy of love, generosity, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

A viewing and puja will be held on Sunday, March 30th, 2025, at 10:30 AM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. Cremation to follow.
