Valerie H. Wood

Valerie H. Wood passed away peacefully at the age of 78, surrounded by her family on November 2, 2021. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvsania she was the daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Karabasz) Young. She was also predeceased by her devoted husband of 58 years,Thomas Wood and her daughter Margaret Goldy, She is survived by her children, Jeanne Dadura, and Thomas Wood. Beloved mother-in-law of Daniel Dadura and Cynthia Wood. Devoted grandmother to Peter, Thomas, Valerie, Daniel, TJ, Margaret, Steven, Margaret, Dorothy, and Bruce. Great grandmother of Ethan and Emily. Loving daughter of Henry and Margaret. Sister to Charles, Henry, Vincent, Joseph, John, Frank, Thomas, Bill, Peggy, Richard, Robert, and Jeanne. Sister-in-law to Florence, Mary, Joseph, Sylvia, Terry, Denny, Geraldine, and Michael. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She retired from Bayada Nursing and spent much of her later years babysitting her grandchildren, which brought her much joy. A Viewing will be held for family and friends on Tuesday November 9, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory 441 White Horse Pike Atco, NJ., followed by a service at 12:00 pm. Final disposition will be held privately. Condolences may be shared with her family on her tribute wall.
