Thomas E. Pajic, age 88 of Marlton, NJ, entered into Eternal Life on September 24, 2024. He grew up in Blue Anchor and developed a love for baseball, basketball, and football. In his 20’s he played for semi-pro teams such as the Folsom Rams, Hammonton Black Sox, and Hammonton Peaches. Tom started his family in Hammonton and eventually resided in Cherry Hill for 44 years. He opened his home to family and friends and these gatherings led to lifelong relationships. The memories made on Brian Drive will live on forever. Tom also proudly served in the US Army National Guard during the Vietnam War. After his military service, Tom’s profession was in IT Recruiting, but he could also install sprinklers and fences with the best of them.
In later years, food became his love language and Tom was known for cooking enough food to feed an army. He was famous for his pasta dinners and Sunday breakfast after mass which were staples in his household. His favorite holiday was Christmas Eve, and he cherished the gatherings with his family and friends who he adored.
Tom’s very favorite pastime was following his grandchildren in all their endeavors. He was their biggest fan. Tom loved their achievements and was often found on the Cherokee football hill, cheering on the Chiefs. He was typically the first fan in attendance and could be heard cheering on his grandkids from any distance. He never missed a game and continued to support his family in every way he could.
Tom loved everyone he met almost as much as he loved life. His positive attitude and enthusiasm will be deeply missed. He was known to say he “never had a bad day in his life” and maintained that mindset until the very end. His persona uplifted others which made him a light in every room he entered.
Thomas is predeceased by his parents, Michael and Agnes (Vennell) Pajic; brothers, John Pajic, Michael Pajic, and Nicholas Pajic; sisters, Laura Garber, Mary Giles, Anna Heggan, and Barbara Panarello. He is survived by his loving wife of 60+ years, Arleen (Mauri) Pajic; children, Dawn Gervasi (Steve) and Tom Pajic (Julie); grandchildren, Alyssa Gervasi, Stephen Gervasi, Grace Pajic, and Tommy Pajic, Jr.; sister, Joyce Bombara; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
