Susan V. King, age 71, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Tuesday March 8, 2022. Beloved mother of Jeffrey (Cynthia) Cannon Sr., Thomas Cannon, and Matthew (Bee) Cannon. Proud grandmother of Jeffrey Jr., Alexis, Benjamin, Cadence, Abbie, Aiden, and Alaina. Dear sister of Anne King. Susan was an avid reader, a lover of all animals (particularly dogs), and was a frequent donor to the Philadelphia SPCA. She was a big baseball fan and always found time to complain about the state of her beloved Phillies. A single mother who raised her children without any help, she served as both a mother and a father while excelling at both Cremation will be held privately. A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your local SPCA would better reflect and honor her life.
