Susan J. Stevens

Susan J. Stevens, age 67 of Atco, NJ, passed away on March 11, 2023. She was born in Long Branch, NJ and was a graduate of Trenton State College where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Susan worked at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital in Hammonton where she dedicated 32 years serving as a Human Services Technician as well as the activity’s coordinator. Known as a people person, people were naturally drawn to her, whether it be the patients at work or passersby in the grocery store. Susan spent a lot of time visiting the beach and Lake Atsion, no matter what the weather was. An avid photographer, she always had her camera ready to capture wildlife and nature. Susan enjoyed crocheting and cooking – a skill she passed on to her three daughters. Most of all, she adored spending time with her family; especially her cherished grandchildren and grandpup. Susan will be deeply missed.

Susan is predeceased by her mother, Marie Bach.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert E. Stevens; daughters, Danielle Stevens (Anthony Olsack, Jr.), Melinda Stevens (Vlad Martinovic), and Melissa Stevens (Jordan Gardner); grandchildren, Anthony Olsack III, Zachary Olsack, Mila Martinovic, and Neko Martinovic; siblings, Linda Snuffin, Carol Durmer, Kathy Koch Donna Wright, and Michael Bach; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
