Shawn David Zalot

Shawn David Zalot, 42, from Mays Landing NJ, peacefully passed away after his battle with testicular cancer on January 13, 2025. He was surrounded by his mother, sisters and fiancé at the time of his passing. He is survived by his son, Shane, his parents, Deborah and Stanley, his sisters, Renee and Ashley, his loving fiancé Connie, his nephews, Tyler, Mason, Hayden and Lincoln as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Shawn was an amazing person who was loved by so many. He was a member of the Electrical Union Local 351 for over 20 years and absolutely loved what he did. He was so eager to get back to work. He loved the outdoors and spending time with the ones he loved most. Shawn was a family man. He was an amazing father to Baby Shane, 8 months old. His love for Connie was like no other. He so badly wanted to marry her when he got out of the hospital. He would help anyone who needed it at the drop of a dime, even when he started to feel the effects of the cancer before knowing he had it. He was always there when needed. Shawn will be immensely missed by so many.
