Shaun H. Hicks

Shaun Henry Hicks, born on October 5, 1986, passed away on April 17, 2025. Shaun served honorably discharged after four years of service in the United States Navy. His time in service reflected his dedication and commitment to something greater than himself. Those who knew Shaun remember him as a kind and caring individual with a beautiful soul. He had a genuine interest in others and found joy in listening to people share their stories and experiences. Though he faced personal struggles throughout his life, Shaun's compassion and warmth left a lasting impression on those around him. His presence brought comfort and connection to many.

Shaun is survived by his parents, Robert and Julie Hicks; brother, Cody Hicks; and daughter, Harlee Hicks. He also leaves behind many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who will cherish his memory.

He is predeceased by stepbrothers, Andy and Eric Cournoyer.

May his memory bring peace and comfort to all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held in June with due notice. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 311, 2225 Atco Ave., Atco, NJ 08004, where Shaun was a member.
