Shannon Leigh Butler

Shannon L. Butler, age 52 and longtime resident of Winslow Township, NJ, passed away on September 4, 2024. She was born in Stratford, NJ to Paul and Ann (nee LeConey) Butler. Shannon was a graduate of Edgewood High School Class of 1990. Shortly after graduating high school, Shannon became a dispatcher with the Winslow Township Police Department. She continued to work in various roles with the Winslow Township Police Department for the last 30 years. Shannon was exceptionally passionate about her work and work family. She was also an employee of Sal and Joe’s in Maple Shade for over 20 years. Shannon enjoyed cooking, baking, and always had her hair and makeup done. She was a people person, and cherished spending time with her beloved family, especially her nieces and nephews. Shannon will be deeply missed.

Shannon is survived by her parents, Paul and Ann Butler; sisters, Terry DiLallo (Anthony), Amy Butler, and Laura Johnson (Michael); nieces and nephews, Marissa, Anthony, Alexis, Gianna, Paul James, TJ, Anthony, and Michael; great nieces and nephew, Scarlett, Bryson, Ailaya, and Alivia; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her spoiled fur baby, Bruno.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home, concluding with a funeral procession past Shannon’s previous residences and the Winslow Township Police Department. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a local animal shelter.
