Samantha A. Luker-Strahan

Samantha Alice Luker-Strahan From a young age, Samantha was incredibly involved in the lives of those she loved. Spending most all of her free time with her sisters and friends, she brought joy to those she spent time with. At the young age of 21, Samantha gave birth to her first child. Being a new mother was a challenge, but with the help of her family and those same friends she was so close with, Samantha thrived. By the age of 26, Samantha was a fully capable and fantastic mother to her four children: Matthew, Tyler, Alexis, and Morgan. As her children grew, so did the love she had to give. Samantha’s personality flourished. Shortly after moving from her parents’ home, Samantha and her family began to raise dogs. Apart from her children, her first Doberman Belle was her pride and joy. One could argue she loved her dog more than her children, and they would all agree to the impact Belle had on her life. Over the years, Samantha cared for multiple Dobermans, Dachshunds, Cats, Australian Shepherds, and countless puppies. Samantha’s love for her children was only matched by Belle, who loved being a mother just as much, and who loved Samantha’s kids more than her own. As her kids grew, they became involved in various school activities, the most notable of which being the High School Marching Band. Having been in the band and marching band herself, Samantha was over-joyed to share her love of music with her children. As her children gained more and more friends, Samantha gained more children. Many of the kids in town started to call her mom as well, as she became more of a mother to them than their own. The caring and compassion Samantha shared with the world were the defining characteristics of her spirit. Though her life had many difficult moments, Samantha’s radiance shone through. A celebration of Samantha’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 1:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the start of the Celebration of Life Service. Because of current health concerns, please be prepared to wear a face covering while in attendance.
