Russell K. Stewart

Russell K. Stewart, age 80, of Glassboro, NJ, passed away on Sunday November 20, 2022. Beloved husband of Carol Stewart. Loving father of Natalie (Charlie) Schultz, Jeffrey (Denise) Gilmour, Kathleen (Glenn) Hoey, Sarah (David) Hobson, and David (Maggie) Stewart. Proud grandfather of Michael, Melissa, Valerie, Stephanie, Nicole, Jacob, Sean, Brendan, Timothy, Turner, and Ian.

Russell was born in Allendale, NJ and has resided in Somerdale, NJ before moving to Glassboro, NJ 20 years ago. He was a graduate of Penn State University and Seton Hall Law School. He worked as a lawyer for the Internal Revenue Service in Philadelphia, PA for over 30 years. He also served as a Law Professor at Rutgers University – Camden.

Russell was an avid Penn State fan, as well as an avid golfer. He loved to travel, going on cruises, and spending time in Marco Island, FL.

Viewing will be held on Saturday November 26, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A prayer service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
