Rosina Romano

Rosina Romano (Nee Boccella), age 95 of Berlin, NJ, passed away on July 27, 2023.

Born in Castelfranci, Italy, she immigrated to the United States and settled in Berlin, NJ, where she has called home for the past 50 years. She was born a hard worker and kept it up throughout her life, working as a sewing machine operator and then a prep cook at the Cabaret, Fireside, and Chauncy’s. In her free time, Rosina loved to cook for her family, bake her “famous cheesecake,” grow an impressive vegetable garden, and spend time with her family and friends.

Rosina is survived by her daughters, Adelina and Antoinetta; grandchildren, Marisa (Pasquale), Patrizia, Gerardo (Letizia), and Silvio; great grandchildren, Morena, Salvatore, Gianluca, Amalia, and Antonia; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by husband, Michele; stepdaughter, Carmela (Raffaele); brothers, Soccorso (Luisa) and Michele (Ida); sister, Nicolina (Vincenzo); grandson, Salvatore; and son in law, Luigi.

Cremation will be held privately.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at St. Simon Stock, located at 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.
