Rose Montecalvo

On July 3, 2024, Rose “Rosie” Montecalvo, 95, of Hammonton, NJ, went to heaven to dance with her husband of over 72 years, John “Jack” Montecalvo who predeceased her.

Rose was born on September 14, 1928, in Galloway, NJ. She is survived by her three beautiful daughters, Linda Phillips, Jackie Molinowski, Michele Coffman, and their families. She was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Mercanto, mother Tavina, and her six brothers and sisters, as well as her youngest daughter, Adele Montecalvo.

Rose said she lived the best life she knew with so many happy memories of her family. She left this earth wishing her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren would be safe and know happiness. While our hearts mourn the loss of our family’s matriarch, we take comfort in knowing she is where she wished to be with the love of her life and surrounded by family. In Rose’s final thoughts, she shared pride in her family and sincere thanks to her friends.

In honor of her wishes, Rose’s remains will be joined with those of her husband Jack and interred in a private ceremony for the family.
