Ronald Martinelli

Ronald D. Martinelli, age 71, of Atco, New Jersey passed on Saturday September 9, 2023 with his wife and family at his side. Ron was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School in 1969. He furthered his studies in Mechanical Engineering at Camden Vocational Technical School and Camden County College, graduating in 1971 and 1973. Ron was an avid lover of music, classic cars, Jeopardy, crosswords and all things trivia. Ron was a loyal fan of the Raiders as well as the Philadelphia Eagles, Flyers, and Phillies. Ron was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary F. Martinelli (née Scarpignato) and his father, Salvatore Martinelli, Sr. of Collingswood, New Jersey.

Ron leaves behind his loving wife, Valerie Martinelli, of Atco, New Jersey, his son Nicholas Martinelli (Joelle), of Belleville, New Jersey, his daughter, Chantal Velasco, of Atco, New Jersey and stepdaughter, Shannan Levitan, of Las Vegas, Nevada along with his sister, Karen Martinelli, of Sicklerville, New Jersey, his brother, Robert Martinelli (Clare), of Williamstown, New Jersey, his brother Salvatore Martinelli (Karen), of Lindenwold, New Jersey, and his grandson, Giovanni Martinelli. He will be greatly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and cherished extended family members.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish/ Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr, Atco, NJ 08004, with Mass beginning at 11 am.

Ron cared very deeply for his beloved pets Rusty, Gizmo, Lily, Hope, Aurora, Richie, and Chicken. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made in Ron’s name to the ASPCA or a local animal shelter of your choosing.
