Ronald LeConey age 62 of Cedar Brook, NJ passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Ronald is predeceased by his parents, George and Ann (nee Valentino) and his brothers, George LeConey, Daniel LeConey and his sister in law Janet LeConey. Ron is survived by his devoted wife, Lydia (nee Sulpizi), his daughters, Stephanie Lyman (Joseph) and Brittany Brockel (Andrew), brothers and sisters, William LeConey (Ginger) of Kirkwood, NJ, Joseph LeConey (Kathy) of Hammonton, NJ, Ann Butler (Paul) of Hammonton, NJ, Debbie LeConey of Berlin, NJ, Mary Sue Graziano (Charles) of Hammonton, NJ and Betty Richardson (Jason) of Sicklerville, NJ. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Kellan and Declan. Ron was a proud employee of the Winslow Township Department of Public Works for 39 years. He retired in 2016. During his retirement he lived his life to the fullest. He loved napping on the beach in Sea Isle, tailgating in the K lot, mowing the lawn any chance he got, and spending time with family and friends. He was an avid memorabilia collector who loved the Philadelphia Phillies with all his heart. Ron made friends and touched the lives of those around him wherever he went, from the post office to the local pizza place, he was loved by everyone who crossed his path. Ron lived a full and happy life alongside his wife, children and grandchildren. He reveled in being a father and a poppy. Ron was a light in our lives, who always brightened our darkest days when we needed it most. He will be terribly missed by his family and countless friends. There will be a private viewing for family. Friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 12, 2020 11:00 AM at the Parish of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/St. Joseph Church, 3rd. & French St., Hammonton, NJ. Interment will be private. Due to current state executive orders, face masks must be worn and all must adhere to social distancing. There will be no receiving line at the Sunday viewing or the church Monday morning.
