Ronald E. Gassert

Ronald E. Gassert, age 82, of Southampton, NJ, passed away on Saturday October 8, 2022. Beloved husband of Sandra Gassert (nee Hille). Loving father of Ronald Brian Gassert (Linda), Sharon Gilligan (Tim), and Raymond Gassert. Proud grandfather of Amanda, TJ, Robby, Taylor, Connor, and Mikela. Dear brother of Carole Gassert and Richard Gassert (Moira). He is also survived by and will be sadly missed by his sisters in law Stacy Brzozowski (Adam) and Sharon Harvey (Dave).

Ron was born in Campbelltown, PA and had resided in Medford, NJ for many years before retiring to Southampton 15 years ago. After his time with the Green Bay Packers, Ron embarked on a successful 30 year career in banking. Ron was also member of Rotary International and of the Knights of Columbus, and served on the Lenape Regional School District Board of Education.

A published author and a gifted artist, Ron achieved much in his life; yet the achievements of his family were much more important to him. He was a fun loving, caring, and incredible husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. Ron was always laughing and had a positive and determined attitude with everything he did.
