Rocco G. Pace

Rocco G Pace, age 89, of Atco, NJ passed away in the comfort of his home in Venice, Florida. He was born February 27, 1935, in Camden, NJ.
Rocco is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Joanne L. Pace; daughters, Wendy Ferrara and Trina Creagh (Geoffrey); grandchildren, Michelle Duffy, Katrina Creagh, Michael Ferrara (Katie) Amber Benjamin (Kurtis) and Crystal Creagh; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Ferrara, Cameron and Brooklyn Duffy, Sean Misyak, Justin, Tyler, and Makenise Williscroft, Caydence Creagh, Riley Ann Benjamin, Owen and Olivia Ferrara; God son, Joseph Cicero.
Rocco was the son of the late Marianne Miller, (Pace) Anthony J. Pace, and stepson of Norbert Miller. Survived by his sister, Dolores Cicero (Late George), brother in-laws, Hugh Birchall Jr. (Robyn), (Late) Dale Birchall (Debbie).
Rocco was a graduate from Camden County Vocational School. He served in the United States Air Force in 1954. In his earlier years he worked at the Philadelphia Insulated Wire Company. He was also involved with the Waterford Township Louden Fire Co. and a Lieutenant with the Waterford Township Police Department. Through his years, he was a Boilermaker in Local 28. Prior to his retirement he worked for the Waterford Township Public School System.
During his retirement Rocco was the president of the Wood Carvers Club and a member of the American Legion, NOV-EL 159 POST, in Venice, FL. Kayaking and fishing were his favorite hobbies. Rocco's family was his greatest pride and joy.
He was a loving husband. Our Dad, Grandpop, and Great-Grandpop will be deeply missed.
A mass and service will be held at a later date. Rocco's wishes were in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital by clicking here.
