Robert William Schmidt

Robert William Schmidt, age 66, of Atco, NJ passed away on November 26th, 2023, following a long brave and valiant fight. He is survived by his dear daughter, Victoria Aquilino (Joseph), his beloved sister, Margaret Navrot (Steven), his cherished granddaughter, Lisa Aquilino, with another grandchild on the way, and his precious nephew and nieces, Alexander, Charlotte, and Pamela. He was pre-deceased by his loving parents, Robert and Veronica Schmidt, and adored long time partner, Dorothy Klotz. Further survived by many friends, family, and Chebe.

Robert was born in Woodbury, NJ on October 29th, 1957. He held many careers throughout his life including mechanic, EMT, contractor, and business owner. He was president of the Moose Lodge and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, boating, camping, and water activities. One of his favorite stories to boast about was when he was one of the last guests to enjoy water skiing at Disney before they closed the lake. Bob enjoyed many happy times with his cars and motorcycles. He cherished his trips to Maine, LBI, and Motts Creek. Robert was a devoted and loyal son, father, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and grandfather to his family. His granddaughter, Lisa, was the apple of his eye. Wonderful memories with Bob will live with us all forever. Whenever you happen to see someone enjoying the great outdoors, or fishing on a lake, remember Bob and how much he loved that. He will be very deeply missed - we love you, Bob. More.
