Robert Pierce Ware

Robert Pierce Ware, age 81, of Atco, NJ, passed away on Friday April 8, 2022. Beloved husband of Sharon Swain-Ware (nee Suders). Loving father of Robert Ware (Patricia), Bill Ware (Connie), Deborah Williams (Lloyd Jr.), Philip Ware (Cathy McNiff-Ware), Suzanne Burns (Thomas), and James Ware (Debbie). Proud grandfather of Robert P. Ware Jr., Timothy E. Ware, William D. Ware, Joseph R. Ware, Mark A. Ware, Thomas J. Burns Jr., Kristyn M. Burns, Jessica L. Bodine, Erin N. Burns, Michael J. Ware, and Joshua V. Ware; great-grandfather of Reanna Ware, Wyatt Ware, Savanna Ware, Adele Ware, Edith Ware, Jaylin Burns, Brelynd Bodine, Nathan Bodine, Lillian Bodine, Paisley Allen, and Kody Allen. Cherished brother of David Ware (Kathy), the late William Ware, and the late John Ware (Karen-surviving). Dear step-father of Jennifer Olsen (Charles) and Amanda Zuccarelli (Daniel) and step-grandfather of Jordan Schlump, Juliet Schlump, and Atticus Zuccarelli. He is also survived by his former wife Edith R. Ware and predeceased by his second wife Natalie A. Ware. Robert will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Robert was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a longtime Atco resident. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1959-1962. He went on to work as a diesel mechanic for Hale Trailer for many years. Robert was very involved in the Boy Scouts throughout his life, and started Pack 54 in Tabernacle many years ago. He loved fishing, going for drives, and riding on the beach. He also enjoyed drawing and painting. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family. Viewing will be held on Thursday April 14, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A prayer service will begin at 11:00 am. Interment with military honors will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Hammonton, NJ.
