Robert James Bright

Robert (Bob) Bright, age 86, of Sicklerville, NJ passed away on February 1st, 2024. He is survived by his children, Deanna, Leona, and Vincent, his grandchild, Garret Bright (Robyn), his former wife, Doris, and many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Walter and Helen, and his siblings, Duke, Jack, Pat, Mary, Marie, and Vicky.

Bob served in the US Army Reserve and was honorably discharged in 1962. He was a lifetime member of the Sicklerville Volunteer Fire Department and the Loyal Order of the Moose (Lodge #548). He served as President of the Lucky Steel Musicians’ Fund and enjoyed organizing country music jamborees at the Golden Nugget Tavern. For the past 50+ years Bob could be found at the Berlin Farmer’s Market nearly every weekend.

He was a dedicated supporter of many charities including The Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriners’ Hospital, the American Legion, and the local VFW. Bob will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 8, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ, 08004. Reflections and remembrance at 11:30 AM with interment to follow at Piney Hollow Cemetery in Newfield, NJ
