Robert J. Pacilli

Robert J. Pacilli, affectionately known as “The Penguin,” passed away on September 11, 2022. He was born to the late Robert C. and Annette S. (nee Rolfzen) Pacilli. Robert proudly served in the US Navy. He was the owner and operator of RJP Homes, the biggest builder of homes in South Jersey for 20 years. Robert enjoyed golfing, but his biggest passion was offshore sport fishing. An avid Giants, Mets, and Yankees fan, he spent his winters on his boat in Costa Rica and summers in Cape May. His yacht even made the cover of a magazine. Most of all, Robert was generous and donated year after year to Q102’s Christmas in July and 12 Days of Christmas. He will be deeply missed.

Robert is predeceased by his son, RJ Pacilli and parents, Robert C. and Annette S. Pacilli.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah A. Pacilli; grandchildren, Christopher Klaitz and Jackson Aucoin; siblings, Nielle Pacilli, Michele Pacilli, and Derek Pacilli (Jennifer); and dear friends, Bill Ziegler, LeRoy P. Wooster, and Cliff Gale.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 10am-12pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home.
