Robert J. Fanelle

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert John Fanelle, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who left us on February 10th at the age of 83.

Born on August 3, 1940, in Camden NJ, Robert was the loving husband of Geraldine M. Fanelle for a remarkable 61 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, joy, and cherished memories. Robert is survived by his sons, Dominick (and his wife Robyn) and Robert (and his wife Valerie) Fanelle, and his daughter, Gina Marie Fanelle Hoffman (and her husband Mike). He was a devoted grandfather to Matthew Hoffman, Veronica Fanelle, Alexandria Fanelle, Louis Fanelle, Ayden Fanelle, Michael Hoffman, Amanda Hoffman Wilcox, and Corbin Hoffman.

Robert found immense joy in the company of his family, and his grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He took great pride in witnessing their growth and celebrating their achievements.

A dedicated sports enthusiast, Robert spent countless hours cheering on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. His passion for the games was infectious, creating lasting bonds and unforgettable moments with family and friends.

Professionally, Robert dedicated an impressive 43 years of his life to RCA in Deptford, NJ. His commitment and hard work were evident throughout his long and successful career, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Robert will be remembered for his warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A. Catholic Liturgy Service will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Samaritan Hospice.
