Robert Hettmannsperger

Robert Wood Hettmannsperger known to family and friends as "Pop" was born June 3, 1940, in Riverside NJ. He passed away peacefully on April 2, 2025.

Robert grew up in Upper Darby, Pa and after serving in the military he returned home to Kirkwood, NJ with his parents Charles and Dana Hettmannsperger.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Elizabeth (Florig) and their son Robert Jr, and wife Carey and their children Robert III, and wife Holly and Abigayle and husband Jake. They are God's gift to our family.

Robert enjoyed many years with his son playing Ice Hockey, traveling to games locally and Canada. He had a real passion for boats and that filled his time after hockey. Robert's kindness, generosity and real sense of humor touched everyone who knew him.

Robert's wishes were to have no services. We hope everyone remembers him and the happiness he gave us and keep him in your prayers.
