Robert H. Williams

Robert H. Williams, age 84, passed away on March 31st, 2024, in Florida. He is predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Elsie Williams, his in-laws, WM Karstien, Dave (Fleichmann Brother) and Lillian Seybold, as well as his grandson, Robert Mark Williams, Jr.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Williams (nee Karstien), his children, Robert M. Williams (Debbie), Linda Atkins (Dave) and Greg Williams (Doris), his grandchildren, Rich Swank (Alison), Greg Atkins, Christopher Williams (Ali), Adam Williams and Roberta Lebo (Daniel) as well as his great-grandchildren, Jayden LeVan, Mason Williams, VyVian Williams, and Joanna Swank. Robert will be missed by his brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and many other extended family members and friends.

Bob grew up in Berlin, NJ. He served in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1960, spending 4 years on the U.S.S. Essex (CVA-9) during the Lebanon/Grenada Crisis and was very proud to serve his country. A true love story was created when he met the love of his life, Joan in 7th grade. They were inseparable and married in 1957. They were blessed with 3 children, Robert, Linda, and Greg and raised them in Indian Mills, NJ from 1972 to 2007. He was a deeply devoted and involved father in his children’s lives. He served many positions as coach, umpire, and referee during the kid’s sports career. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, and Pinochle. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan always cheering for his favorite teams! Bob and Joan then resided in West Palm Beach, Florida since 2007 enjoying what Florida had to offer.

Family and friends are invited attend his visitation on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service and Military Honors will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
