Robert H. Lee

Robert Howard Lee, age 75 of Blackwood, NJ, passed away on November 14, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Ernest Lee, Jr. and Josephine Parker. A devoted family man, he was known for his sense of humor, always ready to joke and make others laugh. A passionate outdoorsman, Robert enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, and spending time in the wilderness. He enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War.

Robert will be deeply missed.

Robert is predeceased by his son, Bobby Deal and two brothers, Frank Lee and Ernest Lee.

He is survived by his partner of 47 years, Katherine Bechtel; children, Thomas Bechtel and Heather Bechtel-Long (Robert); siblings, Sylvio Lee (Joan), James Lee, and Tammi Hall (Tim); grandchildren, Sean Welker, Samantha Welker, Brandon Bechtel, and Dalton Bechtel; nieces and nephews, Nancy Lee Forster, Gabrielle Lee, James Lee, Jr., Tanner Hall, Evan Hall, Lydia Jo Hall, Brandon Forster, and Mark Lee; and best friend since childhood, Charlie Sears.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory and will be held private.
