Robert F. Lloyd, Jr.

Robert “Bob” Lloyd, Jr., age 80, passed away peacefully on October 26th, 2024. He is survived by his son, Robert P. Lloyd, grandson, Hunter R. Lloyd, granddaughter, Alissa Lloyd, brother, George Lloyd as well as his beloved friends, Joseph Bondiskey, and Frank “Waf” DiMeo. Bob is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Viola Lloyd.

Bob served in the US Navy as an aircraft engine mechanic from 1962 to 1965. He was a 35-year employee of Perrone Door and was most recently employed with J & L Auto & Marine. Bob served as President of the Hammonton Little League and Hammonton Hawks for 25 years. He successfully initiated the annual leagues chicken BBQ.

In 1999, Bob was celebrated as Citizen of the Year by the Lions Club, for outstanding performance and community service. To add to his list of achievements and organizations, he was also a proud lifetime member of the VFW Post 2071.

In his free time, Bob’s hobbies included woodworking, hunting and cooking.

A celebration of life will be held on December 15, 2024, at Illiano’s Restaurant, 705 12th St., Hammonton, NJ, at 3:30 pm. A lite fare will be served. Those who wish to recount fond memories are encouraged to share them with everyone attending. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hammonton Little League or to the Hammonton Hawks in Bob’s honor.

Bob touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
