Robert E. Read, Sr.

Robert E. Read, Sr., age 72, of Collings Lakes, NJ, passed away on Thursday December 10, 2020. Beloved father of Robert E. Read Jr. and his wife Lauren, Laura and her husband Dr. Ali Eslami. Loving grandfather of Layla and Aria Eslami, Olivia Read and Gabby, and wife Elizabeth. Dear brother of Linda Smith and Barbara Shephard. Robert was born in Camden, NJ. He grew up in Pennsauken then resided in Collings Lakes. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Marine Corps. He worked for Texaco/Sunoco at Eagle Point Refinery as a Terminal Operator. Robert enjoyed going to the shooting range, working around his house, fishing and visiting his grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to the Visitation on Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M., with Service and Military Honors to follow 12PM at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ.
