Robert C. Richter

Robert (Bob) C. Richter, age 72, of Waterford, NJ passed away on Sunday July 23, 2017 peacefully after a long battle with cancer. Bob is survived by his beloved wife Linda (nee Bada) of 48 years. He is predeceased by his parents William and Helen Richter. Loving father of David (Brandie) Richter of Ohio, and Debi (Zack) Kendra of Gibbstown, NJ. Proud grandfather of Alexa, Raven, Sydney, Dylan, Malachi, and Sophia. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his sister Ruthann (Ralph) Vitelli, as well as nieces, nephews, and many friends. Mr. Richter was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Waterford since 1976. He worked as a forklift operator for Sony in Pitman, NJ for 33 years, retiring in 2006. Bob was an avid fisherman, handyman and enjoyed building motorcycles. In his younger years, he could often be found drag racing at Atco Raceway. Bob will be remembered for his willingness to always help out and lend a hand to his family and friends. Viewing will be held on Saturday July 29, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:45 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ. Funeral mass will begin at 11:00 am. Cremation will be held privately.
