Rita Miller Fulton

Rita Fulton, age 78, passed away at home, on Thursday, November 18th, 2021. Born in Rahway, New Jersey, Rita lived in New Jersey most of her life. She graduated from St. Francis Nursing School and worked at hospitals in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Rita brought her nursing career to Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia, where she was a hardworking and compassionate nurse. Rita later earned her master’s degree in nursing from West Chester University and became a respected nursing instructor at Delaware County Technical School, for the next generation of nurses. She was an avid reader and enjoyed music. Rita played guitar, accordion and loved to sing. Rita and her beloved husband George, adored living in their beautiful condominium in New Jersey and visiting their vacation condominium in Florida. They traveled internationally, in love together. Survivors include her spouse George, her children Kathy Berthold (Bryan), Lisa Fulton Haas (Dave), Daniel Fulton (Hsiao-Ni), brother Jim Belcher, grandchildren Jacob Laquitara, Paul Berthold, Zachary Taylor, Kathryn Taylor, Eva Fulton and great granddaughter Ava Laquitara. Rita leaves behind many beloved nieces, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary Ann Miller and her sister Mary Ann Wheeler. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donate to the charity of your choice.
