Richard J. Cereghino

Richard J. Cereghino, age 94, of Berlin, NJ, passed away on Friday January 29, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Angela Cereghino. Loving father of Mary (Joe) Doyle, Lucy (Angelo) Domenichini, and Anna (Louis) Balsamo. Proud grandfather of Jaclyn (Andy), Kathleen (Josh), Amy (Fernando), Cristina (Bryan), Rebecca (Mike), John (Allie), and Steven (Tara); great-grandfather of Leah, Matthew, Haley, Kieran, and Claire. He is predeceased by his sisters Ruth Cereghino, Theresa Cereghino, and Mary Guzzo. Richard was a proud military veteran, serving in the United States Army. He was a hard-working man, who worked 2 jobs while raising and supporting his family. He had a devoted faith and loved Jesus. Most of all, he loved his family, and enjoyed playing cards with his grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday February 4, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:30 am at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A time for family eulogies will begin at 11:30 am, with a prayer service following the eulogies. The services will also serve as a time for visitation and memorial service for Richard’s sister Mary Guzzo, who passed away in April 2020. Interment with military honors will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
