Mr. Ramesh Gandhi, After a hard-fought battle with Chronic Kidney disease, Mr. Ramesh Gandhi of Egg Harbor Township (originally from Navsari, India) has passed away on May 3, 2020. While in Complete Care Rehab center at the age of 77. He left behind his wife, Chanchal Gandhi, daughter’s Manisha, Anisha, Trusha, son Bhavesh, daughter-in -aw Ruchira, son in law’s, Ashok, Nalin, Atul. Grandchildren, Disha, Malhar, Amy, Parth, Megha, Kanav and Rihan. Ramesh Gandhi was born on October 10, 1943 in Navsari, state Gujarat, India to father Gandabhai Gandhi and mother Jamnaben Gandhi, who predeceased him. He grew up in a large, loving family, with three brothers and one sister. Ramesh Gandhi married to Chanchal Gandhi, lived in hometown Navsari than Kansad and moved to Oman where he initially worked and later started his own retail shop. He was in Muscat, Oman for almost 18 years and later moved to America in 1995. Ramesh Gandhi started working as a Cashier in Hilton Casino resort Atlantic City where he almost worked 10 years. Ramesh Gandhi had to retire early at the age of 63 due to health issues. Ramesh Gandhi had a chronic kidney issue and he had to start the process of Dialysis for almost 5 years as a part of his treatment. He had a kidney transplant in 2008 which had lasted long for about 10 years. In 2017, his health starting to decline again, and his kidney stopped functioning and he had to go back on Dialysis again. Since then his health was like a roller-coaster. Starting January 2020 his health declined to the point where he was hospitalized and was in the ICU for about 10 days. After that he had some chances for survival and after all necessary treatment, he was moved to the Rehab center where he needed to get reconditioned. Mr. Gandhi fought very hard to survive but at the end he lost his battle and passed away peacefully at the rehab center. Mr. Gandhi was survived by his wife Chanchal, his 4 children Manisha, Anisha, Trusha, Bhavesh, Daughter-in-law Ruchira, son in law’s, Ashok, Nalin, Atul and 7 grandchildren Disha, Malhar, Amy, Parth, Megha, Kanav and Rihan.
