Prafullata S. Patel

Born May 6, 1963 in Ashi, India to the late Jayantibhai M. and Niranjanaben J. Patel (from Kavitha), she was fondly known to many as Pappi or Prafulla. She was a devoted wife to Shailesh (from Sihol), a loving mother to Neil (Jason) and Nomita, a dear sister to many, and a caring aunt to even more. Prafulla had a gentle, kind, and loving soul, and she was the pride and backbone of the family. Raised in Kota, India, Prafulla immigrated to the United Stated from India in 1980 to Portland, Oregon. She married her husband in 1985, after which she raised her children and worked as a pharmacy technician at Express Scripts. Just shy of 57 years, and after fighting a courageous battle against cancer for the last 2 years, she passed away peacefully at her home in Voorhees, NJ with her family at her bedside. Prafulla loved her family with all of her heart. While she will be deeply missed, Prafulla will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to call her their mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, or friend. Her liberated soul has been graced with the divine bliss of Akshardham (Abode of God).
