Phuloo Maharaj

Phuloo Maharaj, age 70 of Kendall Park, NJ, passed away on December 27 th , 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Garth Road Princes Town, Trinidad.

She is predeceased by her parents, Seeram and Kowsillia Maharaj and siblings, Gangabisson Maharaj, Samnarine Maharaj, and Flora Maharaj.

Phuloo is survived by her daughter, Shivanie Maharaj (Dharam Manka); grandchildren, Avi Manka and Ayan Manka; siblings Krishna Maharaj (Joyce), Balraj Maharaj (Bimla Devi) , Ram Maharaj (Hafie), Raj Maharaj, Sadhanan Maharaj (Zoe); nieces, Kimberly Pancholi, Devika Maharaj; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Phuloo’s grandchildren brought her the most happiness, and she cherished time spent with her close-knit family. As a devout Hindu, her faith provided her with strength and guidance throughout her life. Phuloo was beloved by many, and will be remembered for a lifem arked by kindness. Her presence will be profoundly missed.
