Peter D. Smoley

Peter D. Smoley, age 74 of Medford, NJ, passed away on January 28, 2024. He was born to the late Peter and Anne (nee Remish) Smoley in Bridgeport, CT. Peter proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel during the Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm. He remained in the Air Force until retirement, where he spent his career as a Navigator traveling the world. Peter was a devout Catholic and parishioner at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Marlton, NJ. He will be deeply missed.

Peter is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Anne Smoley.

He is survived by his aunt and uncle, Deloris and Ed Truskolaski; cousins, Lynne Christopher, Patricia Batten, Thomas Kolakoski, and Joan DeBarba; and dear friends, Candy and Ron Koslowsky.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 10:30AM-11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Parish, located at 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ 08053. A Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at the church. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin, NJ.
