Patti Ann Travers

Patti A. Travers (nee Sherman) passed away peacefully on May 5, 2023, at the age of 70 in Huntsville, AL. Patti was born to the late James and Frances (nee Lombardo) Sherman of Berlin, NJ. She grew up in Berlin, NJ and attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School (St. Simon Stock), also in Berlin, NJ. Patti attended high school at Saint Mary of the Angels Academy in Haddonfield, NJ, and The College of Steubenville in Ohio, which is now Franciscan University of Steubenville, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. Patti began her career in Fort Myers, FL as an elementary school teacher and worked in medical administration in Marlton, NJ. Later, she moved to Huntsville, AL to be with her daughter and grandchildren.

Patti was an amazing mother, MomMom and friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed playing with her three grandchildren, talking to them about their school day and going above and beyond to make the perfect Halloween costumes, which started with her daughter Jamie, and the tradition continued with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Patti was the beloved wife of John Travers; loving mother to Jamie Nave Graziano (Kyle); grandchildren, Ryan, Daniel, and Jesse Graziano; and sister, Debbie Bejsuik (nee Sherman).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 9:30 AM-10:45 AM At St. Simon Stock Parish/Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, located at 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin. Patti requested for those attending, who would like to honor her by wearing her favorite color, pink. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation .
