Patrick "Pops" S. Brock

Patrick S. “Pops” Brock, 74, of Cedar Brook, NJ passed away on Thursday May 26, 2022. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Gagliardi) for 51 years, loving father of Jennifer Brock, Jason Brock (Marieke) and Jacquelyn Walker (Greg). Devoted grandfather of Rocco, Lucca, and Gordon. Patrick was born in Lorain, Ohio. His family relocated to Chester, PA, where he met Mary at a USO dance and they married in 1971. Patrick proudly served in the US Navy as a Corpsman attached to the Third Marine Division in Vietnam. In his last days of service, he was wounded and received a Purple Heart. After serving in the Navy, he worked for the Township of Winslow, becoming Superintendent of Parks. Pops loved photography. He developed his own business, concentrating on wedding events, but also serving as the Winslow Township youth sports photographer for many years. In his retirement years, Patrick enjoyed two more passions–playing golf and vacationing with his wife and family. He loved traveling with his family, visiting places like Italy and Cape Cod, but also just enjoying time together at home in New Jersey and in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where he and Mary spent winters in retirement. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 10:00am to 11:00am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A prayer service will begin at 11:00am followed by US Navy Military Honors. Cremation and interment will be held privately.
