Patricia A. Matthews

Patricia Ann Matthews 81, of Marlton, NJ passed away on December 12, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her children. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (nee Kardel) Courtney. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Matthews. She is survived by her children Michelle Wells (Albert), Anne Marie Meighan (Francis), and Thomas J. Matthews, Grandchildren Theresa Marie Jamison (Jesse), William T. Youngkin, Matthew Wells (fiancée Bryanna Johnson), Rachel Wells, SSG, Michael A. Youngkin (Isabel), great-grandchildren Ellanore Marie Jaminson, Caroline Louise Jamison, Elliott Thomas Wells, Wyatt Jaminson, Oliva Marie Youngkin., Charlotte Moon Youngkin. Patricia lovingly took care of her family and home. She mostly enjoyed the times she would spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a lover of animals especially her dog Penny. She also enjoyed her guilty pleasures of watching daytime television drama shows. Over the years she also like to take cruises with her husband Thomas. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday December 17, 2021 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Saturday December 18, 2021 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 18, 2021 at 11:00 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive in Atco. Entombment will follow at Berlin Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage 419 Cooper Rd.
