Nancy Mae Madara

Nancy M. Madara, age 89 of West Berlin, NJ, passed away on June 2, 2023. She was born to the late Joseph and France Ruth (nee Ross) Helfrich in Pleasantville, NJ. Nancy was a graduate of Pleasantville High School class of 1951. She continued her education at Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1955. Nancy worked as a registered nurse at Pleasantville High School, Ancora Psychiatric Hospital, and Burlington County Memorial Hospital. Her favorite season was winter, and she loved animals, especially her beloved dog, Dixie. Nancy will be deeply missed.

Nancy is predeceased by her husband, Elmer Madara.

She is survived by her children, Mary Ellen Bundick, Douglas Madara, Eric Madara (Kim), Eleanor Bruce, Jamie Madara (Angel Macias), and Patricia Madara; grandchildren, John Madara (Danielle) and 11 other grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory and will be held privately.
