Montez G. Hardy, Ii

Montez G. Hardy II, age 27 of West Berlin, NJ, passed away on April 9, 2023. He was born in Altus, OK to Montez G. and Kim Hardy (nee Godfrey). An avid drummer, Montez attended Philadelphia Creative & Performing Arts High School and graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston with a bachelor’s degree in Sound Design and Engineering. Montez was an audio engineer for NFL Films, where he found a new appreciation for the game of football. He enjoyed making beats and music on his drums; as well as watching anime. Montez will be deeply missed.

Montez is survived by his parents, Montez G. and Kim Hardy; sister, Casselle Russell; maternal grandparents, Ellis and Lila Godfrey; aunts, Maria Hardy, Monica Hardy (Daniel), Chantay Garnett, LaVonne Outler (Arnold), and Rashona Hill (Tyhie); cousins, Maceo, Zakeya, William, Marijah, Arthur, Ju’von, Tyanna, Dominique, Kendra, Lynnea, James, Simone, Zamir; and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10:30 AM-11:30 AM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin, NJ.
