Mildred Flores

Mildred Flores, age 52 of Newtonville, NJ passed away on November 30, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wilmington, DE to Jose Sanchez and Emilia Hernandez. Mildred was the co-manager of Walmart in Marlton. She was adventurous, loved music, and had a passion for grilling. In fact, no one else was allowed to touch the grill when Mildred was around. Mildred had a her way or no way mentality. Even if she was wrong, things were still going to be her way. She was a wonderful mother to her three sons and had a heart of gold; often caring for others’ needs before her own. Most of all, Mildred will be remembered for being strong willed and a fighter, she will be missed.

Mildred is predeceased by her father, Jose Sanchez and brothers, David Cruz and Jose Sanchez, Jr.

She is survived by her sons, John Velazquez (Irene), Michael Velazquez (Giovanna), and Daniel Velazquez (Brooke); soon to be born first grandchild, Giovanni Velazquez; siblings, Kathy Rodriguez, Neida Sanchez, and Juanita Sanchez; and best friend, Je’Lina Longo.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory and will be private.
