Maya M. Dadhania

Maya Manish Dadhania, 21, passed away at her home in Swedesboro, NJ, on November 17, 2022. In her time on this earth, she positively impacted the lives of every person she met. Her loss is mourned by her parents, Hina and Manish; her younger sisters, Asha and Rayna; and her grandparents, family, and friends.

The world became a brighter place on August 28, 2001. Maya's journey was troubled by illness from the day she was born. At age three, she was diagnosed with Wilms' tumor. She underwent chemotherapy, radiation therapy, renal transplant, seizure disorders, and numerous surgeries that kept her hospitalized for months. Despite this, Maya maintained her fighting spirit and embraced life with positivity. Maya always lived in the present moment by finding joy in the little things in life. She frequently expressed her love by giving hugs and kisses to everyone she met and was, in turn, loved by all. Her unfaltering strength was admirable. Maya loved music; she lit up the room with her smile as she sang and danced. Maya enjoyed wearing Indian outfits, doing her nails, and twirling in dresses.

We will miss her jokester attitude and mischievous grin as she chased her dog, Luna, around the house. Her favorite pass time was watching Disney movies, Scooby-doo, and Star Wars for hours. Of the many things she taught us, the most important lesson is to say, "I love you."

Viewing and puja will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Cremation will follow.
