Mary Guzzo was the oldest of four children born to Mary and Giovanni Cereghino in Hoboken, NJ on January 25, 1923. She is survived by her brother, Richard, age 93 and pre-deceased by her husband, Anthony Guzzo and her two sisters, Ruth and Theresa Cereghino. Mary lived a full and independent life and was loved by her three nieces and their husbands: Mary and Joseph Doyle; Lucy and Angelo Domenichini and Anna and Louis Balsamo. She was also the great aunt to five grandnieces and two grandnephews as well as having three great-grandnieces and two great-grandnephews. She was full of curiosity and was a well-read woman who shared a love for cats with family and friends. She loved her family and her friends from Hope Church Bible Study in Voorhees, who taught her about Jesus. She will be missed by all of us, but the many stories we have of her will live on and bring smiles to our faces as our sorrow eases with time. A visitation will be held on Thursday February 4, 2021 from 9:00 to 11:30 am at the Leroy P. Wooster Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. A time for family eulogies will begin at 11:30 am, with a memorial service following the eulogies. The services will also serve as a time for viewing and prayer service for Mary’s brother Richard J. Cereghino, who passed away in January 29, 2021.
