Mary R. Helm

Mary R. Helm, age 90, of Atco, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 9, 2019. Mary worked in the catering business for numerous years. She loved playing golf and going to the casinos to play the slots. She was always the “Life of the Party” and loved having a great time with her family and friends. Mary will also be remembered for her many years working at The Square Circle in Gibbsboro. Beloved wife of the late Jack Helm; loving mother of Alex (“My Alec”) & his wife Rosalie, Taffy Peterson & her late husband Joe and also the late Rosemary O’Hara. Mary was the devoted grandmother of A.J. & his fiancé JoAnna, Christian & wife DiChera, Debbie, Tracy, Billy & wife Michelle and also Jackie; great grandmother of 14 and great-great grandmother of 2. Visitation and funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at The Assumption Church, Christ the Redeemer Parish, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr, Atco, NJ 08004, where family and friends are invited to gather from 9am to 10am for the viewing. Funeral mass will follow at 10am. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mary’s name to the American Cancer Society.
