Mary Elizabeth Stroup

Mary Elizabeth Stroup (nee Ingram), age 82, of Atco, NJ passed away on Saturday, December 9th, 2023.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, George W. Stroup, her children, Marybeth and George, her sisters, Marsha, and Margie as well as 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mary is pre-deceased by her daughter, Cindy, her parents, George and Ruth Ingram and her brother, George.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a photographer and artist, creating beautiful works of art with watercolors. She enjoyed trips to Bermuda and the beach. Mary was a member of the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Tabernacle, NJ and was loved so much by her fellow members. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Cremation will be held privately. Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 beginning at 11:00 am at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 1 Winchester Ct., Tabernacle, NJ, 08088. Inurnment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary’s name to Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
