Mark Richards

May 4, 1957 — March 11, 2024

Mark Richards of Kingland, GA age 66 passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2024. Mark is survived by his wife Denise Bentham of Kingland, GA, his son Mark Richards of Atco, NJ and his daughter, Erica Richards of Virginia. Mark is also survived by his brother, Brian Richards of Ft. Myers, FL. Mark is predeceased by his mother, Betty Jane Richard, his father, Cleo (Pete) Richards and his sister, Victoria Lynn Scully.


Mark was raised and spent most of his life in Marlton, NJ. He owned and operated Shamong Transmission for many years. After his retirement, he moved to Kingland, GA to do the things that he enjoyed most, the beach and fishing!! Although he moved to the southern state of Georgia, he stayed loyal to the Philadelphia Sports teams especially the PHILLIES. If there was a good time to be had, he was there! He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Georgia.


Family and friends are invited attend his visitation on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A family eulogy will begin at 3:00pm. Cremation was private.
